The cloud rose up, Up in the air Ashes floated And tangled in hair. Skies darkened until unable to look, Fifty-six minutes Was all that it took. Frozen with fear Unable to cope, Trembling people Who lost all hope. Prayers flew up Just like the smoke, While the rest of the country Still awoke.
